Terry Shand III (1948-2021)
Terry is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. In addition to the work he does on our case files, Terry makes sure that the Egan Legal Team is running smoothly. It is Terry's responsibility to track each case as it moves through our office and the legal system, making sure that all relevant deadlines are calendared and met. He also assists Mr. Egan at settlement conferences.
Terry brings years of unique experience to the Egan Legal Team. When he was eight years old, Terry won $64,000 on the original CBS television quiz show, "The $64,000 Challenge," defeating the reigning Champion from "The $64,000 Question" on the subject of Babe Ruth over a period of eight weeks. Some of the many positions he has held include President of the Trinity University Young Democrats, Board Member of the Mexican-American Neighborhood Organization (MANO), Elected Member of the Executive Committee of the Bexar County Democratic Party (San Antonio, Texas), Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bexar County Child Welfare, Chief Administrative Assistant to his State Senator in the Texas Senate, and a Presidential campaign advisor to Bill Clinton.
Having grown up in South Texas, Terry speaks some Spanish.
